Iyanda Power Technologies, formerly known as Norconsult Iyanda, is a leading South African electrical and industrial engineering company that has been delivering excellent results since 2005. We are proud to be recognised as one of the most reliable electrical engineering companies in the country.

Who We Are
Iyanda Power Technologies is not only a Level 2 B-BBEE Contributor, but also a Black Woman Owned company. Furthermore, we are proud to be part of the Women in Oil and Energy South Africa (WOESA) group.
Our clients include private and state-owned utilities, large industrial conglomerates, government or state-own enterprises, and Independent Power Producers (IPPs). We have also provided engineering services to mining companies, EPC contractors and companies involved in large-scale property development. Our current staff complement has expertise with PSS/E, PSAPAC, DigSILENT, Reticmaster, MATLAB, CYME, ETAP, PLS-CADD, ArcMAP and CYME simulation software.
Power system studies are conducted and based on national (e.g. NRS048) and International Standards (i.e. IEC, IEEE and NFPA).
Iyanda has an extensive range of Secondary Plant test equipment, such as the Omicron CMC356 and KoCos Artes 460i three-phase injection sets. Iyanda is also able to test Current Transformers against the IEC standards using Omicron CT Analysers.
We are ISO9001:2015 certified and are registered with and affiliated with ECSA and SAIEE.
